Happy Food is our Stripe-powered digital ordering platform for restaurant and food brands. It runs the front of house — the branded mobile app, web ordering, and loyalty that customers actually touch — on top of whatever POS a brand already uses, with Stripe handling the money: Payments and Checkout for online and in-app ordering, Stripe Terminal for in-store registers, and Stripe Connect for multi-location and multi-entity payouts. With 40-plus maintained integrations and a modular component library refined across real deployments, it connects to just about every platform a restaurant runs on.

What we build

We ship fully branded native iOS and Android apps and web ordering, built so the brand owns the experience end to end, with checkout on Stripe. The platform stays POS-agnostic and syncs in real time with the systems a brand already runs, so the app and the kitchen never drift apart, and updates ship over the air without waiting on app-store review.

Two Stripe surfaces do the heavy lifting. Stripe Terminal powers in-store ordering — custom point-of-sale and self-serve registers that match the app, so the counter and the phone run the same menu and the same checkout. Stripe Connect handles money across locations: franchises, multi-brand operators, and multinational chains where each location or corporate entity needs its own payouts, reporting, and reconciliation. For any brand with more than one entity behind it, that’s what keeps the books clean per location.

The platform is modular — cart, loyalty, gift cards, scheduling, delivery, and more — and connects to the services a brand already runs: POS like Toast, Square, and OLO; delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub; loyalty and marketing via Thanx, Sparkfly, and Braze; and back-office systems like NetSuite and Restaurant365. It handles multi-location pricing, taxes, and promotions, with 40-plus integrations maintained in all.
